I'm pretty sure that almost anyone who's moving around Deviant Art have or will sooner enought be looking for a job... or they will be on government assist program and use others' taxes money.
Anyway! Since I'm far from the later, I have been submitting my resume about everywhere I could reach and where I could work for...
(Side note 1 : I laughted when I even submit my resume to a company for the job to be Human resource management assistant... which main objective is to find the best employees for others companies... ironic isn't it? But seems like I didn't get the job)
I recieved a little number of call back (lower than 5% of what I sent), but for most who called me back there was this particular question that made me think A LOT.
"As an employee, what is you main vice/lack/failure?"
This question have a lot of meanings and can be taken in a lot of ways, but it's still a good question to see if the may-to-be-employee know what he needs to work on. People tend to take this question as a trick where you need to find the most useless vice/lack/failure so that they can take you. (but never say things like "I like to sleep"... PLEASE! Unless it's a pillow factory, don't even think about it!)
Anyway... I have answered tons of different answers to that question, like everyone. But after hearing it for a couple of time in a short amount of time, I thought about it more seriously...
I think I have finally found my real MAIN vice/lack/failure as an employee WHEREVER I could work! The universal answer for ME.
The answer is... *drum sound*
I'm dependant about people being dependant to me.
Ok... This might not sound so big or even a vice to some... but it's a MAJOR one! It's even a bigger vice than being a real perfectionnist! (By "real perfectionnist", I mean those people who can even be physically sick of never being satisfied of whatever they are doing.... ever.)
First, this is NOT related about the will to be a leader, but it does make uses of your leadership.
This vice is about that whenever you're working, you think (willingly or not) that you must work for something... and ALWAYS for something in return. And that something is "that people become or stay dependant to you".
This vice can easily make you jealous of others when they seems to take all the attention AND the requests of help.
With this vice, you don't want to be a star or a famous person, but you want to constantly feel that you're needed.
Whenever you got NOTHING to do or no request, you CAN'T stay idle... You NEED to find something to do... and as strange as it sounds, you do it faster and better than you could ever do it before as if you had to prove to yourself that you're NOT useless...
That said... you now all know my vice...
That said again... I FREAKING NEED A FREAKING JOB!
(Side Note 2 : when you write/say "freaking" 2 times in the same sentence, it's meaning that you're REALLY freaking about it... )

When you don't have time to live an human life...
Some of you might know about this kind of feeling.
The feeling that while you're having fun working on some amazing projects, you don't really do nothing else. Being stuck between multiple stuff going on for months starts-to-ends and simply lacking any energy and/or time to live something more than a sleep-eat-work-eat-work daily cycle.
This is a feeling I had for the last couple of months. With a job at a grocery store (got to make some money to pay the rent and living expenses) and an ambitious indie project on the other side, I have been working for an average of 60 to 70 hours per week. Of course, I do have some "free" time now and then
Me, Model Kit, Gunpla and my history with Gundam
I don't know what came to me recently, but a new fever came over me.
I decided to get back into model kits, but to be precise, I recently wanted to paint kits.
It been over 2 years since I last touched a model kit so that feeling is quite strange.
Anyway, I took out the last model which I haven't finished and glued the thing together. You can check it out here :
The glue process is interesting, but as I was working on the F/A 18 Super Hornet, I noticed I'm not that of a fan of the process... on top of not having much skills or advanced tool for it.Toothpick and a tube of liquid glue is all I have after all.
I have bought 2 Gunpla models
Damn... Why did I inked my work?!?
ARGH! I feel not only stupid, but unlucky...
I just did a fine piece of work on paper using a mecanical pen (2H)... then inked it with a prismacolor pencil (B)...
Everything was great... so I thought "I'll try inking it with some cold gray markers... (Got a pack of Touch Fine/broad C Coolgray markers)
Since I have done the drawing+inking on... well... not the great kind of paper I should have used as I thought of it as some minor pratice upon beginning, I did have a rather hard time with the markers... (I even made a mistake... using a darker marker on a retouch... ARGH!)
By the end, things were still fine and especially for something don
